1. Cancer can be the reason for fast evolutionary changes and appearing new species. The reason of that that during cancer development the cancer cells do through very fast natural selection process, and have very high mutation rate (the mechanisms of fixing mutations is usually broken in such cells). So if it can happen that such cells can first become germ-line cells and next, can start deveoping new organism, then such organism will have many genetic differences comparing to its parent and not just few, how it happens usually.

2. There should be possibility to find all genetic differences between cancer cell and normal cell. The way to do it is to mix DNA from cancer and norma cells, then cut it and separate its strand from each other. Then the strands should be joined back. And we should filter those strands which have some nonconsistencies, but not so many (like it can be between homological strands) - there should be some enzyme that connects to all this broken sites. There should be possibility to filter out only DNA pieces that have 1-2 such enzymes on them. And these pieces strands present parts of DNA that were mutated in cancer cells. Should be easy, imo... - it is like running diff operation between files
